A key philosophy for Calistoga Affordable Housing involves working with partners.  Our work as housing developers and advocates cannot be accomplished without several important relationships that we view as partnerships.  Our relationships with the architects, builders, consultants, lenders, and others whose work is vital to the process are critical to what we do.  Our relationship with the City of Calistoga, including the staff, City Council and Planning Commission is especially important to our work.

Of these "partnerships", one has been an actual business partnership; Burbank Housing is a much larger non-profit housing company located in nearby Santa Rosa that has been especially important to us.  Their financial capacity and people resources have played a key role in our projects.

Burbank Housing is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the supply of housing in Sonoma County, so that low-income people of all ages, backgrounds and special needs will have a better opportunity to live in decent and affordable housing.

In its 28-year history of developing and managing affordable multifamily residential communities in Sonoma County, Burbank Housing has developed over 3,000 affordable apartments and 700 owner-occupied homes.  Burbank Housing works in cooperation with all nine Sonoma County cities and the County of Sonoma.
